I have even from the beginning declared it to thee; before it came to pass I shewed it thee: lest thou shouldest say, Mine idol hath done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, hath commanded them.
And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Art thou made of the king's counsel? forbear; why shouldest thou be smitten? Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
