Biography
Most people who find him now know him as the voice behind Modern Wisdom, the interview podcast he began hosting in 2018. The show has since been downloaded more than 400 million times, and clips from it circulate widely on YouTube, where he also publishes.
Before the podcast, he was on television. He appeared in the first series of Love Island in 2015 — a starting point that sits oddly alongside the long-form conversational format he later built, which is part of why the trajectory gets mentioned so often.
He was born in Stockton-on-Tees in February 1988. Alongside the podcast and video work, he is a co-founder of Neutonic. His work is collected at chriswillx.com.
