Biography
The book most people meet him through is If You're Not First, You're Last, published in 2010 and a New York Times bestseller. That title, and the sales-first attitude behind it, is what tends to bring people to his clips and quotes.
Born in Lake Charles on 21 March 1958, Cardone is an American businessman and writer who also works as a financial influencer — a category that barely existed when he started publishing, and which now describes a good deal of what he does. He founded and runs two companies: Cardone Capital, and Cardone Training Technologies, Inc., serving as CEO of both.
The two sides of the operation reflect the two sides of his public work: money management on one hand, sales and business training on the other. His material and his companies are gathered at grantcardone.com.
