Biography
The name most readers encounter first on a book cover: Max Lucado has built his following as an author, and the writing sits alongside a working ministry rather than replacing it. He serves as a minister at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas — a pulpit and a page, running in parallel.
Born on 11 January 1955 in San Angelo, Texas, he is American, and his published work is collected at maxlucado.com. Beyond that, the record here is deliberately short: what carries weight with his readers is the combination of the two roles — someone speaking to a congregation each week and writing for a much larger one.
